Pond Year ReviewI have always loved reading this book to my preschoolers during
my Pond Unit. I'm retiring this year and decided to purchase my own copy since I usually used a library book. I was horrified to find out that it is out of print. Not only does the book bring back memories of playing and exploring in the water as a child, I always hoped it would encourage curiousity in today's t.v. saturated children. I loved pointing out that the two girls are not afraid of the insects or the salmanders or of getting dirty.
