The book follows your child's first five years, but focuses most attention on the first--footprints, first words, places for photos of all kinds, a sweet little layout for recording their growth, and adorable illustrations. I was so impressed with the quality, content, and layout of this book--enough to be thoroughly disappointed with the Anne Geddes I purchased after reading rave reviews.
