Gorf's Pond ReviewI found this book at a clearance bookstore. I thought it was cute, but didn't know if I would use it. Since, I have used it over and over when teaching about change. (in animals--ie. frogs, butterflys,etc...) My students thoroughly enjoy the story and its bright illustrations! This is a book I will never part with and will be sad when it finally falls apart from so many readings!Gorf's Pond OverviewGorf is a lonely little fish who lives in a small pond. He's heard about the noisy, busy pond across the field, and he tries to figure out how to get there. Then some alarming things begin to happen. Strange bumps appear on his fishy sides. When his tail falls off, Gorf really starts to worry. Full-color.
