Lake Erie Islands: Sketches and Stories of the First Century After the Battle of Lake Erie ReviewWhen I ordered this book, I thought it was mostly a reprint of Lydia Ryall's 1913 book on the islands. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out the book is much more.
First of all, it is an annotated version of Lydia's book with many important corrections and other footnotes. But it also contains a number of other old pieces of Lake Erie Islands history, all of which have been similarly corrected and enhanced.
Last but not least, it also contains a lot of new material that has probably not been published before.
